Taste Ulverston 2019
The Taste Cumbria food festival is back in Ulverston over the Saturday and Sunday of the bank holiday weekend, 25 and 26 May, with a big producers’ market to tempt every visitor.
The event is held in association with Taste Cumbria magazine and Cumbria Life and attracts thousands of visitors every year, all keen to eat, drink and shop, as well as discover new and different products. There will be stalls throughout Market Street, Brogden Street, New Market Street and Cross Street each day.
Taste Cumbria organiser Anna Chippendale, of CN Events, says: “They don’t call Ulverston the festival town for nothing – this is a place that really knows how to get behind an event.
“It already has a reputation for food and drink because it has such great shops, restaurants, pubs and cafes, not to mention breweries and other producers, so we’re really looking forward to being back in town this May.”
There will be around 60 stalls in the producers’ market, with a hot food picnic area packed with loads of different dishes for visitors to try.
There are a few trade stand spaces left in Ulverston for food and drink producers. For more details, email email@example.com or call 01228 612000.
